Michelle Power is a Bradenton-based artist whose work is inspired by her daily walks along Florida’s quiet Gulf Coast beaches. Born in Newfoundland, she grew up surrounded by rugged coastlines and a deep appreciation for nature — a sensibility that still informs her paintings today.

Her life’s path has taken her across Canada and around the world, including years in Calgary, Toronto, and Cairo. Each place shaped her perspective, but Florida is where she finally felt at home. She loves its warm sun, beautiful beaches, winding coastal waterways, and — above all — its welcoming, friendly people who, like her, have come from everywhere to build a life in the Sunshine State.
Along the shoreline, Michelle meets her daily companions — elegant herons, bright sandpipers, and curious seabirds that seem to share her path. Back in her studio, she transforms these encounters into vivid, expressive paintings that capture the movement and spirit of the coast she loves.
Beyond her art, Michelle brings more than 25 years of international experience in sales and marketing, building strong relationships and helping organizations communicate with clarity and purpose. Whether in her studio or her professional life, she leads with energy, intuition, and a genuine love of connecting with people.
